Kyle named 1st Pinoy 'Junior MasterChef'

MANILA, Philippines – Kiddie cook Kyle Imao from Marikina was named the first-ever Pinoy Junior MasterChef on Saturday during the “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition Finale: The Live Cook-off”.

Kyle garnered the score of 91.8 points from chef-judges Fern Aracama, Rolando Laudico, and JP Anglo; guest judge Glenda Barretto; and 100 other guest-judges.

Kyle took home P1 million and P1.5 million worth of culinary scholarship from Treston International College.

“Parang nanaginip lang ako. Mangarap kayo ng malaki. Huwag kayong titigil mag-work hard para maabot niyo ang pangarap niyo,” he said.

Kyle cooked oyster ravioli and Asian fusion shrimp and scallops for his final dishes.

Philip Amarillo from Cebu won second place with 91.1 points and took home P500,000 and P1.5 million worth of culinary scholarship.

Mika Tanaka and Jobim Jalbuena won the third and fourth places, respectively.

They were awarded P250,000 each as well as P500,000 worth of scholarship
